Ascent's 2IIM CAT 2009 Training Programs

Ascent Education's 2IIM offers a range of courses for CAT to meet the preparation needs of MBA aspirants from different backgrounds. For instance, there are students who have had their last formal education in mathematics at class X and others who have done their Masters in advanced mathematics. We have designed our contact classes and courseware to address such idiosyncracies.

In addition to our contact classes in Chennai, 2IIM also offers a correspondence course. To provide further assistance to students who opt for distance education through our correspondence program, we provide e-mail based support to those who enroll for our correspondence course.

CAT Intensive Contact Class

Ascent's 2IIM Intensive Contact Program for CAT is designed to equip you to be better prepared for facing the exacting testing standards of the best B-Schools. Our coaching class starts right from the basics of Math (Quant) and English (Verbal) and walks you right up to advanced topics and simultaneously focuses on in-depth analysis of test taking strategies. CAT - Boot Camp for Math and DI

Ascent's 2IIM Boot Camp focuses on Math and Data Interpretation. Many students who take CAT find the Quant section in the test to be the most difficult. The Boot Camp starts by refreshing basics in Math and provides numerous exercises and tests on oft repeated CAT questions. A number of Speed Tests and Proficiency Tests designed to help you master concepts in Math and skillfully employ smart techniques in answering math questions, are administered.

CAT Correspondence Course

The correspondence program that we offer provides comprehensive material prepared by the alumni of IIMs and is self explanatory. The course material covers all the basic areas that are tested in CAT - viz., Quantitative reasoning, Verbal reasoning, Reading comprehension, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency. The study material has been prepared with extreme care to provide you with the necessary ammunition to face CAT.

Mock CAT Series

Ascent's 2IIM conducts Mock CAT Tests regularly from July of the year. An in-depth analysis of five of the ten tests follow the test. In addition to these Mock CATs, we also provided upto 20 full length CAT Comprehensive Tests to help you get adequate practice. For those who cannot take these tests at our centers, the series of tests is made available as a correspondence program.
