2IIM's Boot Camp focuses on Math, DI, Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning. Many students who take CAT find the Math and DI sections to be difficult ones. The Boot Camp for CAT Math & DI starts by refreshing basics on all relevant topics starting from Number Systems and theory to Probability to Functions in Math and provides fundamental insights to mastering the DI and logical reasoning sections. Every topic that is covered in the class is followed by numerous exercise problems with smart solutions.

Practice Tests - Tests, tests &, tests....

Clearing the Common Admission Test (CAT), is not about knowing everything. In fact, hardly anyone attempts all of the 75 questions during the two and half hours. The key difference between those who clear CAT and those who do not lies in not how much one knows, but in being able to identify the right kind of questions and to solve them as quickly as possible.

Our CAT coaching program includes

Speed Tests that are designed to help you consolidate concepts learnt in class across the different topics in Mathematics (there is a speed test for most of the important Quantitative Reasoning topics), Data Interpretation (DI) and Data Sufficiency.
Revision Tests or Proficiency Tests in Math to help you gauge your proficiency while revising these topics at the end of the course.
8 Full Length CAT Comprehensive Tests that will be administered in the classroom. Some of these tests will be analysed in the class. Detailed explanatory answers have been provided for these tests. These tests are representative of past CAT papers.
12 Full length CAT Comprehensive Tests will be provided to you as take home tests when you sign up for the course in addition to the 8 CAT Comprehensive Tests administered in the classroom. Detailed explanatory answers are provided for each of these tests. These tests will provide you additional practice to help you gain speed and master strategies.
10 full length Mock CAT will be held on Sundays starting from the end of July 2008. In-depth analysis of five of these Mock CATs will follow the tests.

Study Material

Study material for Math, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency will be provided. The material has been prepared by the core faculty comprising graduates from the IIMs. The material has been developed based on recent patterns of CAT.

CAT Boot Camp Schedule and commencement date

Classes will commence from January 5, 2008 at Mylapore, Chennai.
This is a weekend evening batch.
Class timings - Twice a week : Saturday Evenings 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Sunday Evenings 4 PM to 7 PM @ Mylapore

Fees

Rs. 11250 (Rupees Eleven Thousand Two Hundred Fifty only ).

Please note that the bootcamp course does NOT include training for the Verbal section of CAT written test and also does not include training for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
