The CAT correspondence course that 2IIM offers provides comprehensive study material prepared by the alumni of the IIMs and is self explanatory. The course material covers all areas tested in the Common Admission Test (CAT) - viz., Quantitative reasoning, Verbal reasoning, Reading comprehension, Analytical and logical reasoning, and Data Interpretation. The study material has been prepared with extreme care to provide you with the necessary ammunition to face CAT.

Refresher Books in Math, English and Data Interpretation

1. CAT Quantitative Reasoning (Math)

3 Refresher books covering all relevant topics - starting from Number systems, Percentages to Permutation & Combination to Geometry to Functions.
- A total of 27 topics from Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry.
- The refresher books contain introduction and explanation on concepts in each topic followed by adequate number of solved examples which cover a wide range of questions that appear from these chapters in CAT.
- Solved examples in the refresher books include questions that are replicas of questions that appeared in previous CATs. Such questions are separately identified for your convenience.
- Solved examples are followed by several exercise problems. These problems are provided with answers and detailed explanatory solutions.
- Shortcuts or alternate methods to solve quant questions are provided alongside the solved examples wherever possible.

10 Mock CAT Tests will be provided. 5 of these will be mailed to you in the second week of September 2008 and the remaining 5 will be mailed to you in second week of October 2008.

The study material for CAT correspondence course is sent in three packs. The first pack when you sign up. The second in the second week of September 2009 and the third in the second week of October 2009.

Fees for 2IIM's CAT correspondence course

The fee for the CAT correspondence course is Rs.4300 (Rupees Four Thousand Three Hundred Only) - for students residing anywhere within India.

How to enrol for the CAT correspondence program?
Offline Registration - Option 1 You can download a copy of our free diagnostic test (pdf format) and the registration form (pdf format). Fill up the registration form and enclose a DD for Rs. 4300 (Rupees Four Thousand Three Hundred Only) in favour of Ascent Education, payable at Chennai and send it to our Chennai office. Offline Registration - Option 2 To enrol, send an email to prep@2iim.com with your complete contact details including pincode and telephone number. In reply, you will receive a copy of our course brochure and a registration form by courier / post. Fill up the registration form and enclose a DD for Rs.4300 (Rupees Four Thousand Three Hundred only) in favour of Ascent Education, payable at Chennai.		Online Registration You can register for 2IIM's correspondence course online using your credit card or online banking account. We use the merchant account facilities of CCAVENUE and an amount of Rs.4300 will appear as Avenues or CC Avenue in your next credit card statement. As soon as we receive notification from CCAVENUE validating the credit card transaction, we will process your application. Usually it takes 24 hours to receive validation after you have placed the order online. The first batch of study material will be despatched to you within 3 working days from the date of receipt of validation from CC Avenue. We suggest that you send an email to prep@2iim.com after signing up online so that we can process your application without any delay.
