CAT (IIM MBA Entrance) Correspondence Course Structure

Details of course material and schedule of despatch

The correspondence course material for CAT will be sent to you in three packets. The first packet will be sent within 3 working days from the day you sign up. The second packet will be sent in the third week of September 2007 and the last packet in the second week of October 2007.

What does Pack 1 contain?

1. Quant Refresher - 1 (Chapters 1 to 12).
2. Quant Refresher - 2 (Chapters 13 to 22).
3. Quant Refresher - 3 (Chapters 23 to 27).
4. Quant Speed Tests for the above mentioned chapters.
5. Quant Refresher - Book of Formulae.
6. Refresher - Data Sufficiency with 10 speed tests.
7. Refresher - Data Interpretation with 7 speed tests.
8. Verbal Refresher - Reading Comprehension with 30 speed tests.
9. Verbal Speed Tests - Reading Comprehension (1 to 3).
10. Verbal Refresher - Word List with alphabetwise test.
11. Verbal Refresher - Sentence Rearrangement with 10 speed tests of 15 questions each.
12. Verbal Refresher - Sentence Correction - A comprehensive book on Sentence Correction with 12 speed tests.
13. CAT Comprehensive Tests 1 to 20. (With answer key and explanatory answers).

What does Pack 2 contain?

1. Proficiency tests for select topics in quantitative ability.
2. Proficiency tests in Sentence Correction
3. Mock CAT Papers 1 to 5 with answer key and explanatory answers.

What does Pack 3 contain?

1. Mock CAT Papers 6 to 10 with answer key and explanatory answers.

Students residing outside India will receive Pack 1 when they sign up. They will receive packs 2 and 3 together in the last week of September 2007.
