Weekend CAT Crash course is a 12 weekends intensive classroom training program for CAT. The crash course focuses only on Math and Data Interpretation. This short term CAT crash course is designed to assist students who have time only during the last three months to prepare for CAT. The crash course is presently conducted only in Chennai.

- Students who have taken the Common Admission Test earlier and would like to get their concepts in Math and DI refreshed just before taking CAT this year.
- Students returning from their ovreseas assignments and would like to ramp up their preparation for CAT.
CAT Crash Course Training Methodology
The curriculum of the training program for CAT crash course refreshes concepts in Math starting from Number Theory and includes topics such as Permutation and Combination, Probability, Geometry, Functions, and Progressions. The level of competency expected in CAT is proficiency in 10th standard Math. Though CAT tests your competency only in basic 10 standard level Math, the proficiency expected is very high. Hence, our CAT preparation starts right from the basics to ensure that your fundamentals are really strong. The classroom sessions are aimed at familiarizing you with concepts from arithmetic, algebra, modern mathematics and geometry. Subsequently, hundreds of solved examples, exercise problems and speed tests are provided that will assist you to build speed and gain accuracy.
In addition, a number of shortcuts in Math will be taught to help you solve typical CAT problems in the shortest possible time.
Section Tests and Mock CATs
Clearing the CAT test is not about knowing everything. In fact, hardly anyone would have attempted all of the 75 questions in CAT 2006 during the two and a half hour duration. The key difference between those who cleared CAT and those who did not lies in not how much one knows, but in being able to identify the right kind of questions and solving them accurately in the shortest possible time.
This CAT crash course includes Speed Tests and Proficiency Tests that are designed to help you master these techniques across three areas, viz., Mathematics (Quantitative Reasoning), Data Sufficiency and Data Interpretation.
In addition, the Weekend CAT crash course will also provide you with 30 Full length Tests. 20 of these are take home CAT Comprehensive Tests and the remaining 10 are administered as Classroom Mock CATs. These Mock CAT tests will be administered on Sundays during the tenure of the course. In-depth analysis of the Mock CAT tests conducted on Sundays will follow each test. Individual counseling and group counseling on test taking strategies will be held to assist you achieve your goal.

Graduates from the IIMs and top B Schools such as XLRI, XIM Bhubaneswar will take classes for the CAT Weekend Crash Course.
CAT Study Material
2IIM's CAT Study material covering all the areas of the Quant Section and DI Section of the Common Admission Test will be provided. The study material has been prepared by the core faculty comprising graduates from the IIMs. The study material has been developed based on recent patterns of CAT.
CAT Course Schedule and Registration
Registrations for the
CAT Crash Course
will commence from June 20, 2006. The classes will commence from Saturday, August 12, 2006.
Classes will be held for a duration of 12 weekends on Saturdays and Sundays.
